Why Most Personal Trainers Los Angeles Don’t Want You To Eat Bread:

Fitness Tips From los angeles personal trainer Leon Lavigne…

So many times I’m asked “why can’t I eat bread…What’s so bad about
it?”

To answer your question let me tell you a story of a day (hopefully)
in your near future.

Lets pretend for fun that you’ve just won the lottery and just
purchased the exotic sports car you have always dreamed of owning.
Mines a black Ferrari F-430 in case you are wondering.)

Anyway, before you take your new hot rod out for some high speed
action, you notice that your fuel is low so you pull into the gas
station to put in some gas…

Now what kind of gas do you put in your dream machine: the cheap
grade with possible impurities and the gunk in it that could shorten
your engines life and make it run poorly…
OR
the premium clean grade that the factory recommends that will make
your car run, strong, more powerfully, and for a long, long time?

You see, when it comes to cars, people usually have no problem
putting in the right kind of fuel, because they have instructions
right on the gas cap “premium grade only”.

When it comes to the bread we eat, usually its a different story:
They want something quick, easy and with little regard to how long
it takes the body to burn it up. (or any gunk it might leave behind)

The biggest problem people make in regards to breads and other baked
goods is that they don’t avoid products that have wheat flour in them
(I try to avoid flour of any kind for that matter). Products that
have wheat or white flour usually cause bloating, and can make it
frustrating if you are trying to lose weight.

Thank goodness, there is one quick and easy solution that pretty much
solves the problem of what to make your turkey sandwiches out of:
Sprouted wheat bread.

Sprouted wheat bread digests much slower than other breads and will
provide you with much more of a sustained release of energy than
other kinds….No bloating…just pure energy and lots of fiber to
boot!

So the next time you are in the bread aisle at the grocery store,
look for the brands that have sprouted wheat and do not mention flour
in the ingredients. If you are having trouble finding one… just
look for the loaf that feels like you could break a window with it
:-) Or shop at a more “natural” grocery store…where they have plenty.
