The perfect golf holiday tour does not have to be time-consuming or painful. If golf is your all-time favorite sport and you and your friends, with or without the spouses want to take some time away to kick back and play, then you should look at all the different courses all over the world. Remember that great golf destinations can be found throught the States and Canada.

Although there are many exceptional local golf courses, especially those in Florida, California, North Carolina, and Arizona, you could also consider courses overseas. Now, if you consider the perfect golf travel holiday as being one in another country, we highly recommend you look at courses and resorts in Spain, Scotland, and Portugal, among others. Not only are these countries beautiful, but the courses are perfectly maintained and stunning. Spain is one option that men and women love, a stunning part of the world that has great golf courses, not to mention historic castles.

If you are not sure about spending all your time golfing, you could always consider a golf holiday consisting of a mini-tournament. To determine what each course offers, all you need to do is call some of the ones that appeal to you most and ask what they offer. The great thing about a golf tournament is that even if you do not play your best, you will have an amazing time. For instance, you and your friends and/or family could dine in the on-site restaurant, enjoying a fabulous meal by a top chef. Having a hotel surrounded by numerous golf courses is always beneficial.

The thing to remember is that sometimes, putting a golf holiday tour together can be a complicated process. Instead of feeling overwhelmed in trying to choose a single course, you might look for a destination where several golf courses are within a few miles. This way, you could golf one day on one golf course and then switch things up by golfing at a different course the next day. Often, finding a central location such as this makes the trip better than imagined.

Of course, if you find narrowing your choices down to a single course too difficult, then a golf holiday specialist would be the way to go. This person specializes in golf tours, meaning he or she knows where every great course is located, the types of tournaments offered, and the amenities of the connected resort.

Therefore, when it comes to planning, this person can make appropriate recommendations based on budget and your personal preference.
